Description

The tilting spreader is used for unloading containers by tipping them over the ship's hold. The SNP-20 (Model NK537) tilting angle reaches 45^o.



Unloading dry fertilisers from rail hoppers into specialised 20' containers is done on the spot, skipping an intermediary storage unit. Dry fertilisers are stored in specialised containers as future shiploads. That way the containers are turned into storage elements, which allows the terminal to stack and accumulate fertiliser shiploads of various types whilst ensuring high preservation of product.
